We get kids outside
NOHLC has a rich history with both Girl Scouts working toward their gold award and Boy Scouts working toward Eagle Scout. Volunteering with us allows them to earn their highest award while giving back to both the community and nature.

Past projects include replacing a bridge at our Kimball Sanctuary, building mason bee houses for the Poweshiek Preserve, installing benches at Oakhill Hollow and planting native flowers at our Voorheis-Beardsley public walking trail.

If you are interested in a scout project, email us today.
