Save The Poweshiek Butterfly
A big chance for a little butterfly
We have a rare opportunity to prevent an extinction right here in our back yard. Scientists say there are only 100 tiny Poweshiek Skipperling butterflies left in the world. They live in a rare habitat that supports a wide variety of other plants and animals including songbirds, turtles and frogs.

You can donate securely online through Paypal, or send a check to NOHLC, P.O. Box 285, Clarkston, MI 48347 (note that it's for the Poweshiek). Thank you for your support.
