NOHLC Mission Statement
The North Oakland Headwaters Land Conservancy (NOHLC)
is a private, non-profit, member supported, citizen run organization
with 40 years’ experience in preserving open space in northwest Oakland
County. Over 1,100 acres have been preserved in six townships, with parcels ranging from 1/2 acre to over 100 acres. And we are still going strong!
OUR MISSION
We are a community-based land conservancy, dedicated to protecting the unique character of the natural resources and quality of life, for the communities and future generations of Northwest Oakland County. We accomplish this by acquiring land and property easements with the intent of conserving the woods, fields, streams, wetlands and other natural features in the headwaters areas of the Clinton, Shiawassee, Huron, and Flint rivers.

NOHLC's office (the red star in the map) is located in the lower level of Springfield Township's Civic Center, On Davisburg Rd. (Broadway), just west of the village of Davisburg, MI, across from the elementary school. Davisburg Road is accessible to I-75 from Dixie Highway, east of Davisburg.
